Once this list becomes too bloaty, we might start splitting it up in subsections. --spike
I was thinking about the same thing. I've seen Google has done this on their support site --IceRAM

Using Plugins
I want to use SSL encryption to the server. The PSI Client tells me, that it cannot enable SSL/TLS due to a missing plugin. Where can I get this plugin and how to install it? I can't find anything useful about PSI plugins either here or elsewhere on the net.
- First of all, the message does not say about "Psi plugin", but only about "plugin", in fact, "QCA plugin", where "QCA" is one of libraries Psi depends on. Psi does not support plugins yet (at least in officially released versions), but it will do that in the future, as we are working on it.
- The message you are referring to indicates that you are trying to enable SSL encryption in Psi-0.10 or earlier.
- If you are running Linux, try looking for libqca-tls, qca-tls, libqca-ssl or qca-ssl package from your package repository for your distro and install it.
- If you are running Windows, then it should've been bundled in installer or archive as qca-tls.dll located in crypto subdirectory of the directory containing psi.exe.
- This QCA plugin should've also been bundled with MacOS X disk image.

Re: PSI/Jabber
Has anyone used PSI/Jabber with MS Netmeeting? If so has there been any issues?
- Microsoft Netmeeting uses H.323 for video transmission (see Wikipedia article), Psi does not support video transmissions and Jingle is used for VoIP. I would rather say that Psi and Netmeeting are not interoperable, unless there is a gateway between those two audio/video streaming systems (which I doubt).

- There is actually a discussion of screen and application sharing on the standards-JIG mailing list now. H.323 came up as well as VNC. Nothing has been done however--just as the talking stage. --67.191.236.235

"unsubscribing" from a Service Discovery?
I don't know if this is the right place to ask it, but I'm using Psi to get my contacts from other IM networks through Jabber, added to my Gtalk contact list, but the original jabber server I used seems to have a bad uptime...so, Im wanting to change to a new one. How would I "unsubscribe" from the old jabber service, and then get the contacts added with the new jabber service? --68.18.3.47 15:46, 19 December 2006 (EST)
