Can somebody tell me how to modify the contact display in the roster. I would like to put in people's real names.

I found the answer to my own question. From the roster, right click on the contact and select 'Rename'.

[edit] Hidden group

In the Hidden Group section it says, "In order to make the 'Hidden' group visible/invisible, go to the 'View' menu and check/uncheck 'Show Hidden' menu item." Where is this mysterious 'View' menu?

Uncheck Psi|Options|Program|Hide menu bar option. A menu bar will appear on top of the roster window.
